Welcome to my personal page!

I am an applied economist with a particular interest in international migration. I am currently based at the University of Southampton where I collaborate on the Connecting Generations project, and have a position as a Research Fellow in Economics. I am also affiliated to the Centre for Population Change. Previously, I collaborated on the QuantMig project.

Before joining the University of Southampton I was a Research and Teaching Assistant (ATER) at the University of Bordeaux, where I also collaborated on the TKC project on migration and innovation.

In 2020 I received my PhD in Methods and Models for Economic Decisions from the University of Insubria (Varese, Italy). My thesis investigates the relationship between international migration and the development of migrants' countries of origin with a particular focus on the implications of remittances and transfers of ideas.
